Membership Lounge refurbishment
The Friends’ Lounge, located behind the cafe area at The National Archives (TNA), is being refurbished.
The first step was the replacement of the windows, part of a much larger project to replace all of the windows in the building being undertaken by TNA.
With that work completed, the Trustees have been able to order new furniture, whilst TNA have kindly replaced the carpet and installed additional power points. There are a few finishing touches to come but we are almost there.
We hope that this much-needed update will provide members with a comfortable space to relax, enjoy a coffee or to do some work. We hope that you will take a look next time that you are in Kew – and please let us have any comments.
