In December, the Friends organised a social gathering in the members’ lounge at TNA for members and TNA staff. It was an opportunity for members to meet the trustees and to chat over drinks and mince pies
The members’ lounge is due to be refurbished in early 2026. This is partially dependent on work to replace the windows throughout the original building (which are now nearly 50 years old); once this work in the lounge area is completed, we plan to replace the furniture, carpet and add some power points to make the space more inviting for members to use, whether to relax, socialise or work. More details will be announced shortly.
The Friends again made a contribution to the Christmas tree in the foyer at TNA and, this year, to also replace the tree in the reading rooms. Pictured are some of the trustees with the tree in the foyer.
