COVID-19

Dear Member,

We are in extraordinary times with a public health situation that has implications for all aspects of our current way of life. With this in mind the trustees have made the following decisions:

  • The Special General Meeting to be held on 31 March has been postponed. The business to be discussed at that meeting will now take place at the AGM on 16 June. If the current situation develops and persists placing the AGM in doubt then it will be moved to 1 December. In the meantime, the voting process currently underway will continue until 31 March. The ballot papers will be secured and the result not announced until the AGM. Those who have not yet voted and completed their membership transfer form are urged to do so and return by the means set out in the covering letter.
  • The visits programme for the year is suspended. No further bookings will be taken. We will be in touch with those who have already booked.

Our May Magna magazine: There may be a delay in the physical distribution of Magna, depending on prevailing circumstances in early May. However, a digital copy will be available in the members’ area of this website in early May, unless changing circumstances delay its completion.

The majority of our management and governance activities are undertaken at TNA. It is very likely that we will move to home working. This may incur a delay in responding to postal queries and processing new membership applications. We will endeavour to respond to all matters as promptly as circumstances permit.

On behalf of the trustees, I hope all members will stay safe and well during these challenging times.
