Remote Volunteer Roles Available

We welcome applications for volunteering with The Friends of the National Archives. We always need committed, enthusiastic volunteers to help with running the charity.

Most volunteer roles can be done remotely from home, within around two hours a week.

There are currently no available volunteer roles to apply for with The Friends of the National Archives. This page will be updated when new roles become available.

For over 20 years The National Archives themselves have organised volunteers to work with the documents, doing such tasks as cataloguing, transcribing, digitising and conservation.
